Ana
Maria Jurpik is a fine artist and works freelance as a graphic
illustrator and web designer. She is the web designer for
the official Arctic Quest site.
Ana was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina
and was raised in the Seattle area of Washington, in the
United States. Later, she moved and settled in the greater
Toronto area of Ontario, Canada. Ana's studio is now located
in the city of Markham.
Throughout her life, Ana searched out various ways of expression,
enrolling in classes ranging from still life to life drawing,
and experimenting with the use of mediums from charcoal
to sculpture to music. In 1999 she released her original
music CD called Exhale, collaborating with producer and
musician, Steve Sherman.
Teaching and Presentations
Conducted acrylic painting and drawing workshops for children,
adult and senior’s groups.
